Formea core extensions offer a straightforward installation process.
On this page, you will learn on how to download and install a core extensions you'd like to use in your form.
Downloading Core Extension
The first thing you need to do is download the latest build of Core extensions. You can find it in Formea's core lists landing page.
Available Cores
To initiate the download of the core extension, click on the download button. Core extensions are categorized as Free and Paid. If you possess an active subscription for the core extensions or Formea Pro, kindly sign in to access the download.
The downloaded file will be in the format .zip. Example: Formea_core_xxxx_1.0.0.zip
Install via dashboard
To install core extension via the dashboard:
- Login to your Joomla! Administrator
- Go to Components » Formea Form Builder » Dashboard
- Under the section "Installed Formea Plugins", locate the "Install Formea Plugins" at the bottom
- Click on "Browse" and upload the downloaded Core extension (.zip file)
Install via Formea Extensions view
To install element type via the Formea Extensions view:
- Login to your Joomla! Administrator
- Go to Components » Formea Form Builder » Formea Extensions
- Click on the "Install new Formea Core Extension" button at the top
- A pop-up for file uploading will appear
- Click on "Browse" and upload the downloaded Element type (.zip file)
